Poor but brilliant students financial support

ScholarshipPoor but brilliant students financial support program:

ALIVE providing financial support to the poor but brilliant students of Jhenidah District from last 6 years with the financial help from Spaandanb, USA and some others individual donor (local and foreign). Now the numbers of beneficiaries are 15, whose are the students of class three to class twelve. In the selection of beneficiaries, we always involve District Education Officer (TEO) and different school/college teachers.

The main focus of the project activities is to increase the net enrollment and reduce the dropout rate for the brilliant students who are not capable to continue their education. The project is expected to increase the functional application as such positively contribute towards the Education for All.

This program already shows a great impact to the poor students and their family also. Every time we are looking forward to increase the number of beneficiaries and the amount of stipend. ALIVE has already surveyed 40 secondary school in Jhenidah & Satkhira District & Identified 100 nos. of poor students whose class roll number are in between 1 to 5. ALIVE thinks that we have to do some things for them. If we provide financial support for short/long term basis, they can get the chance to continue their education & there by in future they will make themselves as an asset for our country.
